IPA Mission
The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) is the national professional body of pharmacists engaged in various facets of the profession of pharmacy. The IPA is committed to promote the highest professional and ethical standards of pharmacy, focus the image of pharmacists as competent healthcare professionals, sensitize the community, government and others on vital professional issues and support pharmaceutical education and sciences in all aspects.
Preamble
Preamble IPA Students Forum organizes National Level Pharmacy Students Congress annually under the guidance of IPA. Each congress starting from the first which was inaugurated by Dr A.PJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India was a resounding success.
The Event
The 4" Indian Pharmaceutical Association Student Congress is being organized under the guidance of IPA from 17th to 19th February 2012 at St. Peter's Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences with the theme "Evidence Based Pharmacy Education". The congress will provide the perfect forum to explore new opportunities across the spectrum for Graduate Pharmacy Students and Professionals.
IPA - SF
IPA-SF is a national forum for pharmacy students under the Indian Pharmaceutical Association -Education Division. It aims to bring all pharmacy students under one umbrella so that their energies can be synergized to make a difference. This will enable them to become better future pharmacists while abiding with the highest ethical and professional standards. This will catalyze their overall development, holding their academic , leadership and professional skills for their benefit in turn the profession and thus health of INDIA.
Highlights of the congress
Scientific Sessions, Poster and Oral Presentations, Pharma Entrepreneurship, Panel Discussions, Leaders in Training (LIT ), Musical night by Indian Idol.
Audience Profile
The Student Congress is a true global event with members spanning all levels of leadership, practice and science-around 3000 students are expected to join the 4th IPASC Congress.
The Main Organizers
The main organizer of the congress is "The Indian Pharmaceutical Association".
Participation Guidelines
The organizers reserve the right to enforce the guidelines set out in order to maintain the integrity and safety of the fair. We reserve the discretion to refuse entry to the fair venue to any third-party recruiters or agents. Should we be alerted to any violation of the guidelines, we reserve the right to deal with it unilaterally. No refund or reimbursement will be made to institutions for any inconvenience caused due to any violation of the guidelines. In case of any disputes, the decision of the organizers are final.
Guidelines
- Participation is restricted to instuitutions which are duly accredited / approved by relevant statutory regulations.
- Institutions may be represented by two authorised personnel with proper identification.
- IPA likes to promote direct college-to-student communication.
- All representatives must agree to abide by the ethics and standards set out by IPA.

Leader in Training (LIT)
LIT program is primarily aimed to train pharmacy students interested in taking up leadership roles to become better leaders and ensure there is a certain standards of leadership amongst new leaders every year. The LIT workshop equips participants with skills ,tools ,knowledge and attitude that they need to have to be a better leader and it primarily focuses on personality development, communication, project management, successful planning and group dynamics.
